Adding volume can enhance areas of your face and work to contour and restore lost volume to certain areas that can appear sunken and gaunt, instantly making you appear more youthful and hydrated. Volume and rejuvenation can also be used to help smooth out wrinkles and creases.

What can I expect?

You’ll immediately see the difference, however, due to swelling that can occur post treatment, your results will usually look their best after a maximum of 1-2 weeks and in some cases last up to 12 months.

Targeted Areas

Most common areas are the lips, chin and cheeks.

Post Treatment

Immediately following treatment, you may experience minor redness, swelling, and bruising. The treated area may also feel tender. These effects usually last 2-3 days and do not prevent you from returning to work and other normal activities immediately after leaving the clinic. However during the next 24 hours following your treatment, it’s important that you don’t engage in any strenuous exercise, consume alcohol, and avoid pursing your lips if you have had volume added to the lip.

We recommend that you ice the area for 10 minutes each hour for the rest of the day post treatment. Your medical practitioner may even recommend massaging the treated area after 48 hours to even our any lumps that may have settled. 

As with most cosmetic procedures, women who are currently pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive should avoid this treatment. You will receive a complimentary consultation with a registered nurse and doctor before any treatment is provided, which will include a discussion about your present and past medical history.

It's best to wait 48 - 72 hours post treatment before flying.
