HIFU

High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that utilises focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity. During the treatment, targeted ultrasound waves are delivered deep into the skin layers, generating heat in specific areas without affecting the surrounding tissues. This thermal energy triggers a regenerative response, promoting the production of new collagen fibres, tightening the skin, reduces wrinkles and lifts sagging skin.

What can I expect?

After your HIFU treatment, you may notice some immediate effects, but the full results will develop over the next 2-3 months and continue to improve for up to 6 months. During this period, your body naturally regenerates collagen, and your muscles firm up. Since the collagen is produced by your own body, the duration of the results depends on your individual healing response. The treatment stimulates new collagen and muscle firmness beneath the skin, but your natural ageing process will ultimately determine how long these visible results last.

Pre and Post Treatment

An initial consultation with one of our clinicians is required to determine if you are a suitable candidate for this treatment. Prepping of the skin is essential and will also help to maximise the results of your HIFU treatment.

Suggested Treatment Plan

Generally only one treatment is needed every 6 months to 2 years depending on the client's age and degree of skin laxity, biological response to ultrasound energy and their individual collagen-building process. Some clients may benefit from the additional treatments and future touch-up treatments can help clients keep pace with their body's natural ageing process.
